The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lansky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nicolosi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nicolosi throws a series of punches but Lansky avoids them all with ease.

Nicolosi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lansky.
Nicolosi throws a right hand that Lansky ducks under and follows up with a left that Lansky also avoids with ease.
Lansky swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Lansky drives through and clinches with Nicolosi against the cage.
Lansky pushes Nicolosi back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lansky fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nicolosi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lansky moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nicolosi moves out of range of the body kick.
Nicolosi throws a series of punches but Lansky avoids them all with ease.
Lansky dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nicolosi. That did some damage!
Meyer Lansky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lansky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nicolosi was well out of range. Poor timing from Lansky.
Lansky lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nicolosi's sensitive parts.
Nicolosi throws a leg kick but Lansky sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lansky, right into the meat.

Lansky takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lansky dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Nicolosi. That did some damage!
Nicolosi throws a body punch but Lansky moves out of range.
Nicolosi takes a shot right to the bread basket.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Meyer Lansky dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nicolosi is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lansky screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Meyer Lansky!
