The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Pettis. Those never looked like landing.
Pettis misses the shot to the body.
A punch combination from Pettis misses.
Chernicin misses with a takedown attempt - Pettis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pettis throws a series of punches but Chernicin moves out of range.

and Pettis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Kirill Chernicin has been cut.
Pettis lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Chernicin can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Pettis and Chernicin drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Pettis.
