Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blah Blah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blah Blah will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jasper Slater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blah Blah!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blah is looking to clinch but Slater is avoiding it.
Slater tries to clinch up
and Blah counters with a straight right hand.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Blah.
Slater is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
You can see the frustration on Slater's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Slater really is a fat lump.

Blah decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Blah clinches up with Slater and pushes him back against the cage.

Slater has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Blah regains guard immediately.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slater postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Blah is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Slater presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Slater takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Slater pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Blah scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Blah feints and as Slater raises his hands in defense, Blah changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Blah controls from within his opponent's guard.
Slater controls Blah momentarily but Blah frees himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blah loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Slater might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slater not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Blah passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blah trying to mount his opponent but Slater defends it.
Slater is trying to maintain the position but Blah is very close to passing his half guard.
Blah seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Slater tries to get to full guard but Blah has control of the leg.

Blah wants to get back to his feet.
Blah is trying to control. Slater wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Slater tries to roll over but Blah keeps him under control.
Slater trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Blah manages to pass to mount!
Blah punching from mount but Slater doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Blah throws a strike there. Slater manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Slater is refusing to be controlled, as Blah sits in half guard.

Blah is working for a kimura but Slater is defending it quite comfortably.
Slater is refusing to be controlled, as Blah sits in half guard.
Blah might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Slater haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slater blocking the ground and pound attempt from Blah.
Blah wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slater keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blah Blah dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Blah decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Slater is looking to improve his position.
Blah is pressing down on Slater's thigh, looking to free his foot. Slater is holding on for now.
Slater is trying to control but can't.
Blah wants to pass to mount but Slater is defending the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Blah looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Slater wants to control but Blah is keeping busy.
Slater avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blah.
Slater has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Blah is working away from the top position though.
Blah seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slater does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slater trying to control but Blah postures up.
Slater is staying active underneath Blah, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Slater uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blah.
Blah throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A cross from Blah lands.
Slater tries to clinch there but Blah circles away.
Slater tries to clinch but Blah moves away
and Blah makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Blah throws a one two combo.
Blah misses with a few strikes there.

Blah gets a double leg takedown into Slater's guard.

Slater looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blah is one step ahead there.
Slater looking to control.
Slater pulls Blah in close to prevent any damage.
Slater keeping moving, preventing Blah from controlling successfully.
Slater wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Blah is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Slater's half guard.
Blah is breathing heavily.
Blah trying to control the action but Slater is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Blah thows a huge punch but Slater dodges it nicely.
Blah is thwarting Slater's attempts to control the position.
Slater tries to get to full guard but Blah has control of the leg.
Blah works his foot free and advances to mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blah looking to finish with strikes here!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blah Blah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Blah swats away the attempt to clinch by Slater.

Blah shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Blah is keen to just control but Slater is a slippery customer.
Blah blocks the strikes from Slater.
Blah trying to control from half guard but Slater is working away.
Slater wants to control but Blah is keeping busy.
Blah wants to control but Slater is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Blah Blah.

Blah dives in and scores a takedown into Slater's guard.
Blah tries to stand but Slater is controlling from the bottom.
Slater pulls Blah in close to his closed guard and prevents Blah from doing any damage or advancing position.
Slater doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Blah looking to pass the guard.
Slater is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Blah tries to roll over but Slater keeps him under control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slater wants to stand but Blah has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Slater is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Slater is trying to work for a kimura but Blah is defending well.

Blah trying to get back to full guard but Slater takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blah tries to reverse the position but Slater maintains control.
Slater landing strikes from the mount.
Blah is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Blah is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Blah takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Blah bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Slater controls Blah momentarily but Blah frees himself.
Blah postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Slater wants to sweep here but Blah controlling him for the moment.
Jasper Slater has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Blah Blah is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Slater being controlled here, momentarily.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Blah Blah.
I've got Blah winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
