The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Macedon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Macedon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Macedon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hardman missing with a left hand there. Macedon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hardman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Macedon looks to throw the jab but Hardman is out of range.
Hardman scores with a hook.
Hardman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Alexander Macedon has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hardman cracks Macedon with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Macedon looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hardman finish him?

Macedon is holding his hands too far apart here. Hardman throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Macedon is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
