Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Koppany Nagy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rob Shawn!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shawn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nagy is fending him off so far but Shawn persists. Nope, Nagy circles away and we're back to standing.

Nagy lunges at Shawn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Shawn's hand.

Nagy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nagy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shawn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nagy wants to stand but Shawn has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Shawn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nagy's guard.

Nagy is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Shawn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nagy tries to avoid it but Shawn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nagy to the ground. Nagy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Shawn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nagy to score with a decent uppercut.

Shawn has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Nagy is on him like a limpet, forcing Shawn back against the cage.
