PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jeff Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bug Spit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spit has chosen Human Insecticide as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogan misses with a body shot.
Rogan lands a lovely overhand right.
Rogan swinging wildly here.
Rogan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Spit doesn't seem bothered though.
Rogan misses with a double jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spit displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rogan throws out the jab.
Rogan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Rogan cracks Spit with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Spit get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Spit looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Spit throws the kick towards the body but Rogan avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spit lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rogan circles away quickly and effectively.
Rogan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Spit tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Rogan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rogan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rogan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rogan knocks out Spit with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Rogan before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Rogan picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Jeff Rogan decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Bug Spit stepped up to the mic, saying 'It's a conspiracy to keep me out of the game.'.
