Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Panikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Maul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panikov's entrance music is Fighters. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergey Panikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Maul!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panikov missing with a left hand there. Maul was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Panikov lands a left and a right that send Maul crashing to the mat, dazed. Panikov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maul slips a jab from Panikov.
Panikov feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Maul crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sergey Panikov!
