Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Axe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bon Jovi - Livin' on a Prayer. Hansen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - Big Gun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tim Hansen has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tim Hansen!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axe walks into a straight right hand from Hansen.
Axe tries to clinch up
and Hansen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've been hearing reports that Axe has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Axe is looking to slow Hansen down with leg kicks.
Hansen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hansen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Axe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hansen scrambles back to his feet.

Hansen is trying to drag Axe to the mat but Axe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hansen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hansen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Axe is aware though and is defending well.
Axe loads up on a big left hand. Hansen felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Axe looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hansen can't hide his disappointment, as Axe celebrates the victory.
