The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bong chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Si Fo can pounce on him.
Bong will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bong looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bong just misses with a punch to the body.
Bong goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bong's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bong duly obliges.
Bong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bong bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bong has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bong is trying to get back to his feet but Si Fo has full control of the position and if anything, Bong has just worked his way into a worse spot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kung Si Fo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Si Fo stuffs the takedown attempt from Bong. Bong gets slowly back to his feet.

Kung Si Fo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
