Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aadilou Ankutse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chilli Parlma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankutse comes into the arena with i ka kane blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ankutse closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Parlma did well to prevent Ankutse getting side control.

Ankutse is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Parlma doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ankutse.
Parlma is trying to maintain the position but Ankutse is very close to passing his half guard.

Ankutse is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Parlma defends it well.

Ankutse is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parlma is just riding it out for now. Ankutse eventually gives up the hold.
Ankutse wants to advance to full mount but Parlma doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Ankutse has gone for a leg lock! Parlma slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ankutse's guard.
Parlma trying to control the position from guard on top but Ankutse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ankutse looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Parlma wants to control from the top but Ankutse keeps moving.
Ankutse is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ankutse trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Parlma is sitting in close to Ankutse's body. Ankutse has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Parlma is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Parlma is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ankutse.
