Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Medium Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jigoro Kano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Medium Hardon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jigoro Kano!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kano rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hardon counters by clinching up.

Hardon breaks the clinch.
Kano motions for Hardon to come forward. Kano throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Hardon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kano's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hardon trying to control the position from guard on top but Kano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hardon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hardon throwing strikes but missing.
Kano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hardon lands a couple of digs.

Kano is trying to get back to full guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hardon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hardon controlling the action here.
Hardon working over Kano with some ground and pound. Kano looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Kano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hardon is nestled in close to Kano, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like Jigoro Kano has been cut.

Hardon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Kano tries to roll over but Hardon keeps him under control.
Kano slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kano looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hardon is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hardon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hardon is working Kano over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That has opened up Jigoro Kano's cut even more.
Hardon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kano's head.

The cut above Jigoro Kano's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hardon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hardon postures up and lands a big shot to Kano's brow.

Jigoro Kano's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jigoro Kano's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Medium Hardon!
