The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D Cruz throws a body punch but Ra moves out of range.
Ra displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from D Cruz.
Ra looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
D Cruz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ra.
Ra seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

D Cruz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ra buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ra throws a head kick but D Cruz moves out of range.

D Cruz dives in for a single leg takedown but Ra sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sun Ra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergio D Cruz.

Ra's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sun Ra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

D Cruz blocks a head kick by Ra.
Ra buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
D Cruz tries for a takedown but Ra sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ra throws a leg kick which misses D Cruz's front leg but catches the back leg as D Cruz tries to avoid it.
D Cruz has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ra.
Ra fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt D Cruz.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! D Cruz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ra - the referee stops the clock and D Cruz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ra. D Cruz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ra lands a big head kick that sends D Cruz tumbling to the mat! Ra takes a step backwards and waves D Cruz back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ra throws a quick inside leg kick.

Ra feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to D Cruz's calf.
