Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clay Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Levesque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levesque tries to close the distance and clinch but Bean swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Matt Levesque seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Levesque looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Levesque throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bean to regain full guard.
Bean wants to stand and escape but Levesque is having none of it.

Levesque wants to control from the top but Bean keeps moving.
Bean is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Levesque is controlling him.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Matt Levesque hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Levesque gets the takedown into side control.
Levesque postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bean wants to get back to his feet but Levesque drags him back down.

Levesque decides to stand back up.
Bean could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Levesque is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Levesque lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bean has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bean and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Levesque rushes Bean and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bean's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Levesque has closed the distance and engaged Bean in a clinch.

Levesque tightens his grip and picks Bean up, before dumping him to the ground. Bean manages to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Levesque is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Levesque is looking to take a break and control but Bean is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bean is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Levesque is controlling him well.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Bean counters with a nice double leg into side control. Levesque won't be happy with that.
Bean throws a strike aimed at the side of Levesque's head but Levesque avoids it well.
Levesque regains half guard.
Levesque works his way to full guard. Good work.

Levesque escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Levesque is striking from the bottom but Bean uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Levesque is pressing down on Bean's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Bean lands a couple of elbows.
Bean throws an elbow that misses. Levesque uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bean's guard. Nice move by Levesque!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Levesque throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Levesque goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Levesque shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bean is trying to defend but Levesque finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Levesque throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bean tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Levesque is in Bean's guard.

Levesque gets to his feet. Bean looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Bean swats away the attempt to clinch by Levesque.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bean tries to sprawl but Levesque drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Levesque is breathing heavily.
Levesque seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bean does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bean tries to kick Levesque off but Levesque keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Levesque decides to return to a standing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt Levesque showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bean is looking to escape.

Levesque stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Levesque tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bean manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Levesque closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bean's guard.

Bean has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Bean is looking for a triangle but Levesque pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Levesque must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Clay Bean is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Oooooh!!! Levesque has knocked Bean down with a huge combo! Levesque steps away and waves a wobbly Bean back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Clay Bean has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Levesque lands a huge takedown. Bean is out but the ref is slow to react and Levesque lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Bean lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
