Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Niga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Niga is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Roy Niga looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Santos finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Niga is breathing heavily.
Niga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Santos tries to avoid it but Niga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Santos to the ground. Santos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Santos moves into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Santos is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Niga can't fight it off and eventually Santos manages to take the fight to the floor. Niga looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Niga wants to stand and escape but Santos is having none of it.

Santos stands up and waves to Niga to follow him.

Santos drives through and clinches with Niga against the cage.
Niga letting Santos take a breather here.
Santos lands a hook that snaps the head of Niga backwards.

Santos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Santos has taken the fight to the clinch.

Santos gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Santos is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Niga!
Niga tries to hold on but Santos pushes him away.
Niga is desperately trying to improve his position but Santos has a good base and remains in mount.
Santos working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Santos is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Niga can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Santos lands a big elbow.
Santos connects with a bit shot that sees Niga covering up! More strikes from Santos and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Santos is our winner by TKO!
