The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demento wants to clinch up but Tupu keeps it at a distance.
Demento looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Tupu keeps the fight on the outside.
Demento throws a nice looking combination but Tupu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Demento lands a jab-cross combination.
Tupu moves away from the strike by Demento.
Tupu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tupu misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tupu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tupu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tupu has hold of Demento's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Demento tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tupu cranks the arm and Demento screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Demento, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Poto Tupu!
