Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sean Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Richards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Cherry!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cherry crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Richards - the referee stops the clock and Cherry gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Richards. Cherry manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Richards doesn't manage to clinch there - Cherry circles away.
Richards scores with a jab. Cherry acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Cherry has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Our sources have told us that Richards has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Richards unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Cherry! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Richards is unloading with more strikes now! Cherry drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
