Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enrico Matta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matta's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Velociraptor by SUBSONICA. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matta lands a nice shot to the body.
Flores looks to land a right hand but Matta moved out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Flores.
Flores misses with a hook. Matta ducked under it nicely.
Flores lands a glancing blow to the side of Matta's head.

Flores misses with a low kick.
Matta jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Matta punishes Flores's body with a nice straight punch.
Flores stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

I was talking to Matta's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Matta tries to circle away but Flores has him pinned against the cage.

Flores is pressed up against the cage. Matta has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Flores down to the mat. Flores avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Edward Flores seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flores fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Flores clobbers Matta with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Matta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Matta gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Flores.
Oh Matta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Flores lands a big uppercut and Matta crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Matta looks OK. Flores waves Matta back to his feet!

It looks like Enrico Matta has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Matta ducks into an uppercut from Flores and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
