The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bezdalinjo clinches.
Bezdalinjo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Hobbs lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Hobbs controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Zack Hobbs just wasn't active enough.
Bezdalinjo swats away the attempt to clinch by Hobbs.

Bezdalinjo has Hobbs up against the cage in a clinch.
Hobbs has Bezdalinjo pressed against the cage, preventing Bezdalinjo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Hobbs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bezdalinjo walks away with a smile on his face. Hobbs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bezdalinjo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hobbs is trying to control Bezdalinjo's posture but Bezdalinjo avoids it.

Bezdalinjo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hobbs has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bezdalinjo wants to stand but Hobbs has his arm trapped.
Hobbs is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bezdalinjo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Hobbs makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hobbs.
Hobbs pulls Bezdalinjo in close to prevent any damage.
Hobbs wants to get back to his feet but Bezdalinjo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hobbs manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
