PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remark Kabelis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daanish Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Electric six: gay bar kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kabelis quickly recovers to half guard.
Khan blocks the strikes from Kabelis.
Kabelis flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kabelis lands a couple of sideways elbows.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kabelis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Khan stands up out of Kabelis's guard for a moment - Kabelis manages to land a nice upkick.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kabelis is on top in guard.

Kabelis is working Khan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Khan is rocked!
Kabelis gets to his feet and stands over Khan, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Khan felt that one! Kabelis unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Khan from any more punishment!
