The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Helix darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Helix missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Helix works his way into side control.
Helix landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Helix tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Baba tries to escape but Helix is in control.
Baba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Helix. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Helix goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Baba has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Helix but great work by Baba.
Helix tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Baba presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Helix keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Helix is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Baba prevents Helix from getting the reversal.
Helix wants to control but Baba is having none of it.
Helix has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Helix regains half guard.
Helix is looking to improve his position.

Baba wants to pass to mount but Helix is defending the position.
Helix has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Baba is working away from the top position though.

Helix looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Helix is pressing down on Baba's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Helix is looking to cinch up a triangle. Baba throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Helix's body to avoid the submission. Helix has instead reached around Baba's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Helix arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
