Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raiden Asuka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jet Li!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Li misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Asuka.
Li thows a body shot but no joy.
Li wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Li is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Asuka rather than just go for the knockout.
Asuka takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Asuka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Li defends it well.
