Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 39 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Curry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulter lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Poulter lands a head kick. Curry smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Arthur Curry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poulter digs a good hook to Curry's body.
Poulter ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Curry fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Curry throws a looping overhand right but Poulter ducks down to avoid it.
Curry throws a jab when Poulter was well out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Poulter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Curry scores with a decent looking hook.
Curry throws the left hand but Poulter avoids the punch easily.
Poulter looks to land a body kick but Curry moved away.
Curry misses with a looping right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice cross by Curry.
Curry swinging wildly here.
Curry uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Poulter thuds a left hand into Curry's body.
Curry misses with a hook. Poulter ducked under it nicely.
Curry looks to land a left hand but Poulter moved out of range nicely.
Curry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poulter was well out of range. Poor timing from Curry.
Curry pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Poulter back to the cage. Curry follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Curry - that will leave a mark!
Poulter lands the left hand.
Poulter lands with an overhand left.
Poulter walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Curry checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Curry throws a jab when Poulter was well out of range.
Curry moves out of range of the body kick from Poulter.
We've been informed that Poulter has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Curry does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Curry loads up on a big right hand but Poulter slips the punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Poulter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Curry manages to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Curry ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Curry throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Poulter on the side of the head.
Poulter lands a head shot.
Curry ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Curry throws a quick inside leg kick.
Poulter digs a good hook to Curry's body.
Curry swings for the body but Poulter moves out of range.
Curry lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Poulter tries a head kick but it misses.

Poulter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Curry tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Poulter's elbow.
Poulter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Curry smiles and moves away.
Curry looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Curry cracks Poulter with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Poulter avoids the body shot from Curry.
Poulter takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.


Poulter is rocked!
Poulter has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Curry.
Poulter is still on wobbly legs! Can Curry finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Curry engages and cracks Poulter with a massive lead left hook - Poulter tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Curry is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arthur Curry!
