Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andres Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machete's entrance music is Lonely Day . A fine choice. Martinez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Emperor's Dawn kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Machete checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Martinez has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Machete! Martinez is out on his feet! Machete rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Martinez is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Martinez is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Andres Machete was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
