Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cartmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartmen's entrance music is Eric Cartman - Come Sail Away . A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Cartmen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trevor Stone!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartmen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stone throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cartmen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stone looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cartmen scores with a body shot.
Stone scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cartmen in his tracks.


It looks like Eric Cartmen has been cut.
Stone scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Stone throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone takes a kick to the side of the head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stone enables Cartmen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Cartmen drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Cartmen off! Cartmen jumps back into Stone's guard.
Cartmen prevents Stone from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cartmen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cartmen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Cartmen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stone works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cartmen wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
Cartmen won't allow Stone to get back to his feet.
Cartmen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stone pushes Cartmen off and scrambles back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Stone.
Stone pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stone throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stone displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Cartmen clinches up against the cage.
Stone blocks a body shot from Cartmen.
Cartmen lands a body shot in the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stone is trying to push Cartmen away but Cartmen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Stone doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Stone is trying to break the clinch but Cartmen is controlling him.
Stone lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Stone wants to get back to striking at distance but Cartmen won't allow it.
Stone wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cartmen has him pressed against the cage.
Stone wants to break free but Cartmen has control.
Stone using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cartmen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cartmen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cartmen goes for a takedown attempt but Stone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Stone. Those never looked like landing.
Cartmen swings for the body but Stone moves out of range.
Stone throws a hook but Cartmen blocks it.
Stone wants to clinch up but Cartmen keeps it at a distance.
Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cartmen counters with a nice body kick.
Stone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stone misses with a series of wild punches.
Stone throws a series of punches but Cartmen avoids them all with ease.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cartmen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stone moves away.
Stone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cartmen circles away quickly and effectively.
Cartmen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cartmen thows a body shot but no joy.
Cartmen is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Stone fails to land with a series of punches.
Stone misses with a double jab

and Cartmen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Stone!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cartmen is trying to get an arm triangle but Stone is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cartmen wants to control but Stone is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Trevor Stone will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Eric Cartmen's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A nice inside leg kick there by Cartmen. That's going to slow Stone down.
Cartmen slips under a jab.
Stone loads up on a big right hand but Cartmen slips the punch.
Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cartmen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stone.
Stone throws a poor cross that misses
and Cartmen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stone cracks Cartmen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Stone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stone looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Stone takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cartmen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Stone misses with a double jab.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cartmen moves away.
Stone takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Cartmen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cartmen.
Cartmen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cartmen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Stone wants to stand up but Cartmen is controlling him.

Stone wants to stand and escape but Cartmen is having none of it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Eric Cartmen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stone got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cartmen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stone has managed to get both his arms back between Cartmen's legs - danger averted.

Cartmen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cartmen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stone looking to sit in guard and control but Cartmen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Cartmen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Stone wants to stand and escape but Cartmen is having none of it.
Stone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Stone uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Stone moves out of range as Cartmen throws a body kick.
Stone throws a left and a right that both miss

and Cartmen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stone won't be happy with that.
Stone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cartmen is controlling him well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cartmen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stone knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
