Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ellis Healing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yuki Takano!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takano lands with a thumping leg kick.
Healing just misses with a punch to the body.
Healing checks the leg kick.
Healing is looking to clinch but Takano is avoiding it.
Healing tries to land a front kick but Takano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Takano connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Healing momentarily.
Healing shoots in for a double leg but Takano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Ellis Healing has been cut.

Takano felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Both fighters circling a little - Takano finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Healing takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Takano fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Yuki Takano seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Healing tries to close the distance and clinch but Takano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Takano connects with a body shot that sends Healing's belly button to the back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Takano has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Takano fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Healing has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Healing takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oh Healing is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Takano connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Healing seems to have got his legs back now.
Good leg kick by Takano there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Takano connects with a solid leg kick.
Takano walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Healing drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Takano swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Healing's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuki Takano!
After the fight, Yuki Takano was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
