The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karakhanyan throws a jab when Tupu was well out of range.
Karakhanyan moves away from the strike by Tupu.
Karakhanyan thows a body shot but no joy.

Karakhanyan gets caught napping as Tupu dives in and scores a takedown. Karakhanyan manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tupu has hold of Karakhanyan's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Karakhanyan seems comfortable defending it but Tupu has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Karakhanyan is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Karakhanyan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tupu couldn't care less - he's delighted!
