Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Wonstom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Ragnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gustav Ragnarson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Wonstom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav Ragnarson!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wonstom scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ragnarson dives in for a single leg takedown but Wonstom sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Wonstom is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wonstom stops a takedown attempt from Ragnarson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ragnarson is trying to drag Wonstom to the mat but Wonstom just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ivan Wonstom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustav Ragnarson.

Wonstom manages to break the clinch.
Ragnarson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wonstom is fending him off so far but Ragnarson persists. Nope, Wonstom circles away and we're back to standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ragnarson shoots in looking for a takedown but Wonstom manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ragnarson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

It looks like Gustav Ragnarson has been cut.
Ragnarson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wonstom as he jumps to the side.
Ragnarson shoots for a double leg takedown but Wonstom sprawls well. He's pushed Ragnarson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ragnarson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wonstom misses the shot to the body.

Ragnarson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wonstom's waist but Wonstom gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ragnarson off to one side.

Wonstom is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Ragnarson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wonstom swivels and escapes.
Wonstom stalks Ragnarson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ragnarson's face. Ragnarson staggers backwards, shaken.

Ragnarson dives in and grabs Wonstom's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wonstom pushes down on Ragnarson's head and hops out.
Ragnarson shoots in looking for a takedown. Wonstom tries to sprawl out of it but Ragnarson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wonstom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ragnarson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ragnarson or perhaps it was just good defense by Wonstom, which made it look bad.

Ragnarson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wonstom wants to get back to his feet.
Ragnarson throws an elbow but Wonstom slips to the side and avoids it well.

Wonstom throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Ragnarson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ragnarson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Wonstom is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ragnarson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Wonstom displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ragnarson.
Ragnarson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wonstom circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ragnarson.

Ragnarson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wonstom tries to avoid it but Ragnarson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wonstom to the ground. Wonstom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wonstom slaps away a takedown attempt from Ragnarson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ragnarson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wonstom is fending him off so far but Ragnarson persists. Nope, Wonstom circles away and we're back to standing.
Ragnarson shoots in for a takedown but Wonstom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wonstom fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ragnarson on the side of the head.
Ragnarson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ragnarson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wonstom scores with a one two! Ragnarson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Ragnarson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wonstom swivels and escapes.
Ragnarson fails to land the takedown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ragnarson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Wonstom manages to escape and get back to his feet!

and Wonstom counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Ragnarson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wonstom sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ragnarson somewhat.

That has opened up Gustav Ragnarson's cut even more.
Ivan Wonstom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wonstom throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Ragnarson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ragnarson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ragnarson prevents Wonstom from escaping the position.
Wonstom trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Wonstom knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ragnarson on the ground.

Wonstom takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wonstom is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Ragnarson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The strikes coming from Ragnarson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Ragnarson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Ragnarson tries to score with some ground and pound. Wonstom controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Oh Wonstom is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ragnarson lands some shots froms side control.
Ragnarson is chipping away with strikes.
Ragnarson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Wonstom is avoiding damage well.
A big shot lands for Ragnarson! That's hurt Wonstom! Will he recover? Ragnarson fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gustav Ragnarson!
A victorious Gustav Ragnarson thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
In defeat, Ivan Wonstom stepped up to the mic, saying 'Andy Barclay was my toughest fight. He is undefeated and he was the favourite for this fight. I knew he was going to throw kicks. Good luck to his future.'.
