Denson comes into the arena with The good the bad and the ugly blaring out of the sound system. Wesley Denson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenen takes a jab right on the kisser.
Denson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wesley Denson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Denson swats away the attempt to clinch by Jenen.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jenen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Denson looks to land a combination but Jenen avoids it well.
Denson lands a nice shot that snaps Jenen's head back.

and Denson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Denson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jenen is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Denson just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Jenen has gone limp and this one is over!
