Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Kryon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Sako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dustin Kryon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dustin Kryon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Sako!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sako shoots in but no luck this time.

Kryon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sako quickly recovers to half guard.
Kryon is taking a breather. Sako says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kryon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kryon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Dustin Kryon has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kryon throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Kryon closes the distance and clinches.

Kryon has picked Sako up - he's going for a ride! Kryon dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Sako trying to control here.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Sako is trying to get back to full guard.
Kryon is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dustin Kryon wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Sako tries to clinch up.

Sako fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kryon sprawls well initially but Sako persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kryon works his way to full guard. Good work.

Kryon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sako doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sako manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sako trying to control the position from guard on top but Kryon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kryon wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Sako stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kryon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kryon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Sako wants to control but Kryon is having none of it.
Kryon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kryon punishing his opponent with strikes.
Kryon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sako is looking to escape.

Kryon lands a nice shot to the head.
Kryon avoids the attempt from Sako to control.

Kryon is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sako is surviving well by controlling Kryon's body position as best he can.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sako tries to hold on but Kryon postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Kryon shoots in looking for a takedown but Sako manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kryon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sako shoots for a double leg takedown but Kryon sprawls well. He's pushed Sako's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dustin Kryon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sako shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kryon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kryon is wriggling around but Sako manages to pass to half guard.
Sako perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Dustin Kryon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sako throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sako is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Sako wants to control the pace but Kryon is squirming around nicely.
Kryon tries to hold on but Sako pushes him away.
Kryon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kryon tries to get out of the position.
Kryon is trying desperately to improve position.
Kryon is squirming around, avoiding Sako's attempts to control the action.
Sako landing strikes from the mount.

Kryon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kryon manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Kryon trying to hold on to Sako's head to control him but Sako postures up.
Kryon is looking for a sweep. Sako is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sako slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kryon wants to get back to his feet.

Sako is trying to control. Kryon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Sako controlling the action here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bob Sako hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kryon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Sako clinches up with Kryon and pushes him back against the cage.

Kryon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kryon shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dustin Kryon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kryon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sako avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sako tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kryon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sako misses with a series of wild punches.

Sako forces Kryon back against the cage and clinches.

Kryon lands a takedown into guard.

Sako has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kryon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sako is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sako is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kryon manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Sako keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Sako showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Kryon dips to his left and cracks Sako with an uppercut!
Sako ducks right into an uppercut from Kryon.

Kryon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sako did well to prevent Kryon getting side control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Sako has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kryon is working away from the top position though.
Kryon wants to pass to mount but Sako is defending the position.

Sako manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Kryon keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Kryon gets control of Sako's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kryon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Sako should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sako postures up.
Sako trying to control the position from guard on top but Kryon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sako scoring with some ground and pound.
Sako with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sako wants to control from the top but Kryon keeps moving.
Sako stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kryon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sako looking to sit in guard and control but Kryon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Sako wants to get back to his feet but Kryon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Sako takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Sako working for submissions but it's allowed Kryon to get to half guard.
Kryon with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kryon thows a huge punch but Sako dodges it nicely.
Sako has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kryon is working away from the top position though.
Kryon controlling the pace.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dustin Kryon just wasn't active enough.
Sako throws a head kick that misses.

Kryon closes the distance and clinches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kryon trying to stall but Sako improves his position.

Kryon decides to pull guard.
Kryon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sako manages to get himself to full guard.
Kryon sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dustin Kryon showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Kryon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
