The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Golem blocks the low kick.
Monterrey throws a head kick but Golem moves out of range.
Monterrey checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Golem checks a leg kick nicely.
Monterrey looks to score with a jab to the body but Golem is just out of range.

Oooooh!!! Golem has knocked Monterrey down with a huge combo! Golem steps away and waves a wobbly Monterrey back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like John Monterrey has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Golem tried to score with a low kick but Monterrey checks it.

Golem connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Monterrey misses with an uppercut. Golem saw that one coming.
Golem connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Monterrey covering up! Golem comes in with a big uppercut and Monterrey goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
