The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Listenor has closed the distance and engaged Donovan in a clinch.
Donovan has Listenor pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Listenor manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Donovan dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Donovan is trying to pull guard but Listenor has him pressed against the cage.
Listenor tries a knee to the head but Donovan blocks it.
Listenor is trying to push Donovan away but Donovan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A nice left hand lands by Listenor.

Donovan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Listenor chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Listenor tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Donovan moves into the clinch.
Listenor tries to land a knee to the head but Donovan blocks with his arms.
Listenor pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Donovan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Listenor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The referee is keeping an eye on Donovan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Listenor is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Donovan is keeping busy.

Donovan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Listenor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dane Donovan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Listenor throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Donovan is breathing heavily.

Listenor darts in and clinches Donovan up against the cage.
Listenor swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Donovan tries to pull guard but Listenor won't allow it.

Donovan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Listenor prevents it.
Listenor connects with a knee to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Listenor wants to break free but Donovan has control.
Donovan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Listenor after a bit of a struggle.
Donovan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Listenor smiles and moves away.
Listenor throws a sloppy head kick and Donovan moves out of range easily.
Donovan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Listenor lands a big head kick that sends Donovan tumbling to the mat! Listenor takes a step backwards and waves Donovan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Donovan is rocked!
Listenor is looking to clinch but Donovan is avoiding it.
Oh Donovan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Donovan goes for a double leg but Listenor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Listenor continues to drive forward.
Listenor landing knees to the head.

Listenor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Listenor throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Donovan is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
