Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Rugowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kingo Kongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rugowski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kongo.
Rugowski avoids the head kick by Kongo.
Kongo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kongo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Kingo Kongo has been cut.
Kongo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kongo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rugowski.

and Rugowski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kongo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rugowski has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Warehouse in the buildup to the fight.

Rugowski wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rugowski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kongo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rugowski avoids it.
Kongo is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Kongo is looking to control Rugowski's arms but Rugowski gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kongo has his back to the cage.

Rugowski goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rugowski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rugowski tries to circle away but Kongo has him pinned against the cage.

Rugowski tries to work over Kongo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Rugowski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Rugowski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rugowski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kongo throws a sloppy head kick
and Rugowski counters with a big head kick but Kongo shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kongo closes the distance and clinches.

Rugowski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kongo connects with a body shot that sends Rugowski's belly button to the back.
A low kick from Kongo misses
and Rugowski counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kongo is lucky that one didn't land flush.

That has opened up Kingo Kongo's cut even more.
Rugowski misses with a head kick.
Rugowski cracks a nice hook into Kongo's ribs.
Rugowski throws a poor cross that misses
and Kongo counters with a leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Kongo pushes Rugowski up against the cage in a clinch.
Kongo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rugowski avoids it.
Kongo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kongo lands an elbow inside.

Bubba Rugowski's cut is getting worse.
Rugowski lands with a left to the head.
Kongo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rugowski's elbow.
Kongo gets through Rugowski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Rugowski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kongo tries to clinch up but Rugowski circles away and keeps his distance.
Kongo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The cut above Kingo Kongo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A head kick misses from Kongo.
Rugowski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kongo cracks Rugowski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bubba Rugowski will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rugowski throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Kongo colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Rugowski as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Kongo is left battered and dazed whilst Rugowski and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba Rugowski!
During a confident post fight interview, Bubba Rugowski thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
