The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcolini just misses with a punch to the body.
Brock misses with a takedown attempt
and Marcolini counters with a nice right hand that sends Brock toppling to the canvas! Brock scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Marcolini finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marcolini throws the left hand but Brock avoids the punch easily.
Marcolini misses the shot to the body.
Brock displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marcolini throws out the jab.
Marcolini tries to land a front kick but Brock steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Marcolini plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Brock swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Brock face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
