The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danneskjöld throws a leg kick but Ono sees it coming and moves out of range.
Ono misses with an attempted mid kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Ono finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Ono works the jab nicely.
Ono ducks under a wild hook from Danneskjöld.
Ono lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ono has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Danneskjöld is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Danneskjöld is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ono sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ono throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ono, right into the meat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ono connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ono darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Danneskjöld misses with a hook. Ono ducked under it nicely.

and Ono counters with a head kick that drops Danneskjöld to the mat! Danneskjöld scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Are you kidding me?! Ono ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Danneskjöld clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
