Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Benston Drake!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OSullivan tries to clinch up.

Drake looking to score a takedown here. OSullivan is defending well but Drake drives through and ends up in OSullivan's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Drake gets to his feet - OSullivan follows without any prompting.
A punch combination from OSullivan misses.

Drake scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drake tries to advance to mount but OSullivan instead regains half guard.

Drake stands up out of the half guard.

OSullivan is staying active underneath Drake, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Drake tries to pass the half guard into mount. OSullivan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
OSullivan wants to improve his position but Drake is controlling well.
OSullivan is looking to escape.
OSullivan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Drake.
OSullivan gets full guard.
Drake's corner is telling him to maintain position.
OSullivan trying to control the position.

OSullivan working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Drake has passed into half guard!

Drake keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
OSullivan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Drake is working away from the top position though.
Drake tries to pass the half guard into mount. OSullivan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Drake wants to lay and pray for a moment but OSullivan keeps working.
OSullivan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Drake looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Benston Drake was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Drake getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Drake fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. OSullivan sprawls well initially but Drake persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
OSullivan is trying to control but can't.
OSullivan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Drake is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

OSullivan works his way to full guard. Good work.

Drake throws a sloppy strike and OSullivan has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Drake is forced to tap! Great BJJ from OSullivan!

In his post fight interview, Chris OSullivan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
