Willemoes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thompson moves away.
A big left from Willemoes misses.
Willemoes takes one to the chin there.
Willemoes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thompson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Thompson lands with a right hand.
Thompson throws a head kick but Willemoes moves out of range.
Willemoes scores with a punch to the head.
Thompson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Willemoes has time to react.
Thompson looks to land a body kick but Willemoes moved away.

Willemoes jumps guard but Thompson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Willemoes tries to pull guard but Thompson won't allow it.

Thompson digs a right hand underneath Willemoes's ribcage. Willemoes let out a lung full of air as it connected.
