Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferdinando Ferrari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lotus comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. On his way into the cage it seems that Tommy Lotus has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tommy Lotus seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ferdinando Ferrari!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari misses with an uppercut. Lotus saw that one coming.
Ferrari fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ferrari has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lotus is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ferrari shoots in but no luck this time.
Ferrari jabs Lotus right on the nose. Lotus blinks but takes it well.
Lotus lands a lovely overhand right.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ferrari, as that shot connected.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ferrari.
Lotus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lotus works over Ferrari's head and body with a nice combination.
Lotus ducks under a wild hook from Ferrari.
Lotus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ferrari sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lotus has been working on his balance at London MMA Club, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Ferrari.
Ferrari dives in for a single leg takedown but Lotus sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ferrari drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lotus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ferrari has Lotus in his guard.
