Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Genia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moritsune Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi tries for a takedown but Genia sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Genia lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Musashi throws a head kick but Genia moves out of range.

Musashi shoots in and gets a takedown into Genia's guard.
Musashi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Genia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Genia wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Musashi shoots in looking for a takedown but Genia manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Musashi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Genia has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Musashi - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Genia, and another! Musashi is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

In his post fight interview, Will Genia started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
