Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Parmalee Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonton Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sackett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to RATM: Know Your Enemy. Hong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hong Entrance Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Parmalee Sackett!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tonton Hong!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hong.
Hong wants to land a leg kick but Sackett is out of range.
Sackett stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hong.
Hong tries to work over Sackett's front leg with a kick but Sackett checks it.
Hong scores with a sloppy right hand. Sackett should have avoided that one.
Sackett checks a low kick from Hong.
Sackett gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sackett lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like Tonton Hong has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sackett throws a low kick but Hong avoids it.
Hong has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hong fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sackett looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sackett tries to close the distance and clinch but Hong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hong misses the shot to the body.
Hong fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sackett has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

enabling Hong to counter with a crisp jab.


It looks like Parmalee Sackett has been cut.
Sackett misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hong.
Hong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sackett.
Sackett checks a low kick from Hong.

Hong connects with a looping right hand.
Sackett scores with a jab. Hong acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Hong tries to score with a low kick but Sackett moves his leg out of the way.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hong.
Sackett fakes the leg kick and cracks Hong in the body.
Sackett lands a right hook to the body.
Sackett throws a nice inside leg kick.
A big left from Hong misses.
Sackett misses with a body shot.
Hong moves out of range of the body kick from Sackett.
Hong throws a head kick that misses
and Sackett counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sackett throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Parmalee Sackett's cut is getting worse.
Sackett connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hong walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sackett checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hong cracks Sackett with an open hand slap.
Sackett throws a leg kick but Hong checks it.
Sackett blocks a leg kick.
Hong has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sackett.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sackett digs a good hook to Hong's body.
Hong thumps Sackett with a low kick.
Sackett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hong.
Hong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sackett. That did some damage!
Sackett pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hong does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sackett throws a wild body kick that Hong sees coming a mile off.
Hong takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hong misses with a wild body shot.
Sackett misses with a straight left.
Hong wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sackett looks to land a combination. Hong sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Hong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sackett's waist but Sackett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hong off to one side.
Sackett is looking to land body kicks.
A clash of legs there as Sackett blocks the low kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sackett takes one on the button.
Sackett lands an overhand right.
Sackett misses with a body kick.
Hong sizes up Sackett with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tonton Hong will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Hong has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sackett.
Sackett throws a body punch but Hong moves out of range.
Hong with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sackett walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hong connects with a nice looking jab.
Hong tries to move into range but Sackett moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Tonton Hong seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Sackett lands a head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sackett throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Hong counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hong throws a big right hand that misses.
Sackett is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hong won't allow Sackett to sweep him here.
Hong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sackett is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hong wants to control from the top but Sackett keeps moving.

Hong in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hong trying to control the position from guard on top but Sackett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sackett works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sackett looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sackett avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Sackett tries to work over Hong's front leg with a kick but Hong checks it.
Hong slips under a jab from Sackett.
Sackett fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hong on the side of the head.
Sackett lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hong feints and then cracks Sackett's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sackett down.
Hong jabs at Sackett's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hong tries to score with a low kick but Sackett moves his leg out of the way.
Hong's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Sackett moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hong throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Jab, jab by Hong - just one landing.
A big left from Sackett misses.
Sackett tries a low kick but Hong avoids it.
Hong connects with a looping right hand.
Hong avoids the head kick by Sackett.
A nice combination there by Sackett.
Sackett staying out of range there.
Hong moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


Parmalee Sackett's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Hong with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sackett to score with a decent uppercut.
Hong scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sackett keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hong lands a nice shot that snaps Sackett's head back.
Sackett tried to score with a low kick but Hong checks it.

Hong uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


Jeez, Parmalee Sackett's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Parmalee Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hong throws a chopping leg kick but Sackett manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hong jabs Sackett to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hong cracks Sackett with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Parmalee Sackett's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tonton Hong!
Tonton Hong is the new light heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Tonton Hong thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
