Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yize Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zdeno Chara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yize Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Chara has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Li feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Charas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Chara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Li.

Li throws a left that rocks Chara and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Li dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Chara regain composure!
Chara is still in real trouble! Can Li finish him?

Li stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Chara seems to have recovered his senses.
Chara ducks under a wild hook from Li.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Li counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Chara! He's just covering up as Li starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
