Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Allen Snapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Hug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snapp comes to the ring accompanied by Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit. Allen Snapp had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hug thuds a left hand into Snapp's body.
Hug misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hug throws a head kick that misses.
Hug buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Snapp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hug jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Good leg kick by Hug there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hug throws a combination. Snapp tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Allen Snapp has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snapp takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Hug's coach down at Titan Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hug's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Well Hug has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
