Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Conquer All. Peter Walter has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tom Dick's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick tries to clinch up but Walter circles away and keeps his distance.
Walter blocks a head kick by Dick.
Dick seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Walter avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Walter misses with the combination.
Walter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dick is fending him off so far but Walter persists. Nope, Dick circles away and we're back to standing.
A lazy left from Dick finds it's target.
Dick is looking to clinch.
Walter lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dick's sensitive parts.

Dick's jab looks to have found its range, popping Walter under the eye.

and Walter counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dick's guard now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Peter Walter.
Walter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dick tries to avoid it but Walter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dick to the ground. Dick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dick slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Walter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dick is fending him off so far but Walter persists. Nope, Dick circles away and we're back to standing.

Walter is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dick to keep the fight standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Walter jumps guard but Dick stands there with Walter around his waist. Walter gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dick is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Walter is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dick clobbers Walter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Dick is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Dick is pushing down on Walter's leg trying to pass to half guard. Walter is fighting to maintain full guard but Dick has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dick's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
