The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Johnson blocks the leg kick.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Bimba shows good takedown defense.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Bimba enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bimba manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Barrett Johnson will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bimba lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bimba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bimba feints and then cracks Johnson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Johnson down.
