Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wally Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Bjj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Wally Hoover has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wally Hoover seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoover misses with a wild body shot.
Hoover lands a high kick!
Hoover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Hoover. That snapped Bjj's head back.
Bjj uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoover.
Hoover swings for the body but Bjj moves out of range.

Bjj dodges the punch combination from Hoover.

and Bjj counters with a right hand to the body.
Bjj showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hoover.
Wally Hoover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoover tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bjj manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bjj moves out of range of the strikes.
Hoover throws a sloppy head kick
and Bjj counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Hoover throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hoover swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bjj uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoover.

and Bjj counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bjj slips a jab and a cross from Hoover.
Hoover throws the left hand but Bjj avoids the punch easily.

Bjj avoids the body shot from Hoover.
Hoover thows a body shot but no joy.

Hoover throws a hook but Bjj blocks it.

and Bjj counters with a shoot takedown. Hoover fights it but they end up in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Bjj is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bjj drops back looking for a leg! Hoover is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hoover manages to kick Bjj off! Bjj jumps back into Hoover's guard.

Bjj drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hoover dives on top into guard.

Hoover is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bjj has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hoover is looking to defend but Bjj has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hoover! Bjj pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hoover taps out and this one is all over!
