PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Der Debil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Method Man and Redman - Da Rockwilder. Debil has chosen Bulimic as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Debil manages to avoid it.
Red cracks a nice hook into Debil's ribs.
Red scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Debil looks winded!
Debil takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Red lands a slapping body shot.

Red clinches up with Debil and pushes him back against the cage.
Red is leaning against Debil and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Red has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Red.
Nice body punch from Red.

Red is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Debil can't fight it off and eventually Red manages to take the fight to the floor. Debil looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Red forces his way into half guard.
Red with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Red is working for a submission of some sort.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Red takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Red works his foot free and advances to mount.
Debil really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Red. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Red swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mr Red!
A less than humble Mr Red misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Der Debil spoke after the fight, saying 'i did what i can, i have lost this fight but i will learn more and be a better fighter in the future!'.
