Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bach Schtrappe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bach Schtrappe!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schtrappe shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Spencer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've been informed that Schtrappe has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
The fighters circling - Spencer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Spencer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Schtrappe is fending him off so far but Spencer persists. Nope, Schtrappe circles away and we're back to standing.
Schtrappe connects with an inside leg kick.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Schtrappe, right into the meat.
Spencer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Schtrappes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spencer throws out a loose jab but Schtrappe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Spencer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schtrappe sprawls well. Schtrappe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Spencer gets slowly back to his feet.
Schtrappe lands with a hook. Spencer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Spencer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Schtrappe to score with a decent uppercut.
Schtrappe connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Spencer's hands.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Spencer. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Bach Schtrappe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Spencer counters with a shoot takedown. Schtrappe fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bach Schtrappe hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Spencer throws a nice looking combination but Schtrappe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spencer.

Schtrappe can't do much from the bottom here.
Schtrappe is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Spencer is staying active.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bach Schtrappe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Spencer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Schtrappe napping and manages to drive through into side control!
