Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pate Perhana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Perhana has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Escobar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Escobar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Perhana has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Escobar has managed to get both his arms back between Perhana's legs - danger averted.

Perhana escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Escobar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Escobar uses his free foot to push down on Perhana's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Perhana.

Pate Perhana decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
