Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duane Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Unit Two (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duane Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Unit Two!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Two shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stone is trying to defend but Two finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Two blocks the strikes from Stone.
Stone wants to get back to his feet.

Two is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Two decides to stand up.
Stone shoots in but no luck this time.

Two fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Two persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone is trying to get back to full guard.
Stone wants to get back to his feet.
Stone is looking to improve his position.
Two thows a huge punch but Stone dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Two is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stone has managed to free his arm - good work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Two in particular looking to stall.
Stone is looking to get back to is feet but Two passes into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Two.
Two controls the position from side control.
Let's hope that Two has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Two lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stone down.
Stone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Two is controlling him well.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
It looks like Two might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Two wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stone, who protects the arm well.
Two works to advance to full mount. Stone defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Two misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Two throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Stone tries to buck Two off but Two takes his back!
Two thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Two is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Stone has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Two is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stone is trying to stand back up.
Stone is breathing heavily.
Two throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Two has good solid back control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Unit Two dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Two shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Two was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Two decides to stand back up. Two steps back and let's Stone get back to his feet.
Nice shot lands for Two.


It looks like Duane Stone has been cut.

Two moves into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stone is looking to take this one to the mat.
Stone wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Two tightens his grip and picks Stone up, before dumping him to the ground. Stone manages to land in guard.
Stone being controlled here, momentarily.
Two passes into half guard.
Two throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Stone wants to stand back up but Two manages to pass into side control.
Stone is working to avoid the ground and pound but Two connects with a decent elbow.
Two sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Stone is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Stone is looking to reverse the position.
Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Two on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stone is pushing Two's head away, looking to escape. Two manages to hold on to the position though.

Two decides to stand back up. Two steps back and let's Stone get back to his feet.

Two shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Two decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Stone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Two sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stone is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Two just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Stone has gone limp and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Unit Two!
