The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booyakasha avoids a kick to the body.
Booyakasha fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bathory has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Booyakasha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Booyakasha rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bathory moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Bathory counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Booyakasha thinking.

and Booyakasha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Arzlan Bathory has been cut.
Booyakasha misses with a low kick as Bathory jumps back.
Bathory connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bathory throws a body punch but Booyakasha moves out of range.
Booyakasha sizes up Bathory with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Booyakasha swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Booyakasha tries to clinch up but Bathory circles away and keeps his distance.
Bathory just misses with a punch to the body.
Booyakasha throws out a loose jab but Bathory uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bathory fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Booyakasha scores with a jab. Bathory acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bathory pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bathory lands a jab.

Booyakasha fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bathory.
A jab from Booyakasha does it's job there.
Bathory is looking to slow Booyakasha down with leg kicks.
Ali Booyakasha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bathory looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Booyakasha fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bathory looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bathory thumps Booyakasha with a low kick.
Booyakasha moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bathory is rocked!
Booyakasha lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Bathory head around and knocks him out cold! Booyakasha hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
