And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sig Huskvarna!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huskvarna closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Frederick did well to prevent Huskvarna getting side control.
Frederick really is a fat lump.
Frederick wants to control but Huskvarna is keeping busy and won't allow it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Frederick got a little sloppy there for a moment and Huskvarna has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frederick has managed to get both his arms back between Huskvarna's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frederick wanted to stand there but Huskvarna had control of the position.

Huskvarna manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Frederick keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Frederick shoots in for a takedown but Huskvarna shows good takedown defense.
Huskvarna throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Frederick counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Frederick has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Huskvarna is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Frederick is trying to push Huskvarna away but Huskvarna has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Huskvarna jumps guard but Frederick turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Huskvarna goes for a takedown attempt but Frederick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sig Huskvarna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huskvarna is trying hard to land a takedown here. Frederick sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Herb Frederick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sig Huskvarna.
